In a 2-year cohort study, we compared the proportion of expectations fulfilled based on the number of vertebrae involved in surgery between adult lumbar scoliosis patients and controls with other degenerative conditions. Patients pre-operatively completed a valid lumbar surgery expectations survey addressing expected improvement
