The meta-BPDM-embedded polymeric hydrogel was characterized by using solid-state UV-visible spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray analysis and its sensing properties were studied.
