The patients were assigned into the intervention (n = 45) and control (n = 45) groups. Of the participants in the intervention group, 37.7% (n = 17) were treated with levetiracetam (LEV), 33.3% (n = 15) with valproic acid (VA) and 29% (n = 13) with carbamazepine.
