RESULTS Of the 5,093 reactions, 53.1% (n=2,703) had been no longer practicing in EMS and were contained in the analyses. The main aspect for leaving EMS was pursuing education for EMTs (20.6%) and pursuing much better pay/benefits for paramedics (19.6percent).
