The majority of EBA-like cases required systemic therapy, whereas in the presence of BP antibodies, topical corticosteroids were effective. CONCLUSION We report a case of EBA of the Brunsting-Perry pemphigoid type, diagnosed by IEM after 6 years of progression. We highlight the diagnostic and nosological difficulties of Brunsting-Perry pemphigoid.
