We identified and characterized a genome of the multi-drug-resistant Bacteroides genomospecies recovered from an invasive specimen from a hospitalized patient in Canada. The strain was resistant to penicillin, pipercillin-tazobactam, meropenem, clindaymycin and metronidazole.
