CASE OVERVIEW We describe a 45-year-old female with unilateral exophthalmos caused by reflex sympathetic dystrophy and its own unforeseen spontaneous disappearance after a typical anterior cervical discectomy and fixation procedure with two PEEK interbody cages and a plate.
