With these evidences, we tested in vivo how PACAP administration by immersion bath affected the survival of rainbow trout fry to a challenge with viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus (VHSV). After challenge, PACAP-treated fish had increased survival compared to non-treated/challenge fish.
