Persons with stroke demonstrated significantly reduced handgrip performance regarding maximal handgrip strength, resistance to fatigue, grip work, and muscle fatigue for the contralesional hand. In addition, a reduced grip resistance and muscle fatigue was shown for the ipsilesional hand compared with controls.
