This paper proposes a novel enhancement for Competitive Swarm Optimizer (CSO) by mutating loser particles (agents) from the swarm to increase the swarm diversity and improve space exploration capability, namely Competitive Swarm Optimizer with Mutated Agents (CSO-MA).
