The WDR5/TET2 interaction was essential for BPA-induced ERβ overexpression. Enhanced WDR5/TET2 interaction was also observed in eutopic endometria from EM patients. Further results showed that BPA upregulated WDR5 expression through the G protein-coupled estrogen receptor (GPER)-mediated PI3K/mTOR signaling pathway.
