Here we conduct metazoan-wide genomic tests of three enzymatic anti-oxidant people that target the prevalent ROS signaller, hydrogen peroxide specifically, monofunctional catalases (pet), peroxiredoxins (PRX), and glutathione peroxidases (GPX). We expose that the 2 most evolutionary ancient families, CAT and PRX, exhibit metazoan-wide conservation.
