N-glycosylation is an important posttranslational modification in all eukaryotes, but little is known about the N-glycoproteins and N-glycans in microalgae. Here, N-glycoproteomic and N-glycomic approaches were used to unveil the N-glycoproteins and N-glycans in the model diatom Phaeodactylum tricornutum.
