At present, there are three ways in the water treatment process of power plant:
(1) Traditional desalination way: the salt in water is removed by ion exchange, which requires a large amount of acid-base solution to regenerate the ion exchange resin. As a result, the cost of operation increases, and the recycled drainage also has some pollution to the environment.
(2) Improved desalination way: Most salts in water are removed by RO, but the regeneration of exchange resin in mixed bed still requires acid and alkali. Therefore, this method is only an improved desalination method with reduced operating cost and environmental pollution.
(3) Green desalination way: it completely removes acid and base in the preparation of ultrapure water, and achieve the greening process.
