Ciprofol is a propofol analogue with improved pharmacokinetic properties. A multi-centre, non-inferiority trial was conducted to compare the deep sedation properties of ciprofol and propofol with a non-inferiority margin of 8% in patients undergoing gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
