In 2 field experiments, done in 2019 and 2020, potato flowers cultivated in 64 L bins were treated with a soil drench of oxathiapiprolin, benthiavalicarb or ZE at 12.5, 25 or 50 mg ai/five plants in a container. Synthetic inoculations with Phytophthora infestans disclosed that such treated plants were protected against late blight in a dose-dependent fashion all across the season. Interestingly, oxathiapiprolin persisted into the addressed soil for at least 139 day
