Online Assessment For ADHD - Is it a Replacement For a Diagnosis? Online assessments for ADHD could be a useful first step however it's not a substitute for an actual diagnosis. The sites that offer quick diagnoses are faster (and possibly cheaper) than the traditional process however they do not include the many steps that are required in a full assessment. They also tend to rely on self reported symptoms that can be affected by mood or other factors.
