In this work, existence and some functions of S-layer in lactic acid bacteria had been determined, its impact on opposition to gastrointestinal enzymes, aggregation and adhesion ability had been investigated too. For this purpose S-layers of microorganisms had been eliminated by 5 M LiCl treatment and measurements of the proteins were based on SDS-PAGE evaluation.
