Healing of diabetic wounds present a big challenge due to insufficient vascular supply and bacterial infection. We developed chitosan based biodegradable polymeric hydrogel containing silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) as antimicrobial agent and calcium alginate nanoparticles (Ca-AlgNps) as hemostatic agent to address this problem.
