Interestingly, MitoQ partially prevented Doxo-induced transcriptome changes in the brain, but it had no effect on behavior or cognitive function. Collectively, our findings are consistent with the idea that chemotherapeutic agents could induce neuronal/gene expression and behavioral changes similar to those that occur during brain aging. In this context, mitochondrial therapeutics may have potential as treatments for CICI at the biological level, but their effects on behavior/cognitive function require further investigation
