Neonatal encephalopathy (NE) is associated with a high risk of adverse neurological outcomes. Several neurodiagnostic tests have been evaluated to predict the prognosis. Amplitude integrated Electroencephalogram (aEEG) is now being commonly used for bedside evaluation of cerebral function. There is limited data on the role of aEEG for prognostication in NE, from resource-limited settings. To evaluate the predictive ability of aEEG for abnormal neurological outcomes in neonatal encephalopathy or neonates with encephalopathy. Neonates abo
