ADHD in Women Adults Women with ADHD face a variety of difficulties. They may find it difficult to cope with everyday tasks, deal with problems with relationships and meet social expectations. They may also have difficulty staying focused at work and can't remember appointments. A recent study examined the experiences of women diagnosed with ADHD as adults. It revealed that while the diagnosis provided a relief and helped make sense of the past however, it was often bittersweet.
