Furthermore, Slit2 overexpression attenuated the increases in myofilament-associated PKCs and phosphorylation of cTnI at Ser43 in the post-IR myocardium. The myofilament calcium sensitivity and actomyosin MgATPase activity were preserved in the post-IR Slit2 myocardium.
