How to Replace Bifold Doors A lot of home improvement stores sell bifold doors as kits which include the door panels and installation track. The kit you purchase should have a total width that is approximately an inch smaller than the size of the opening that is framed. If your bifold doors are squeaking open, it could be due to a a loose guide pin on the top track or if the floor pin at the bottom is in a wrong the way or not in place.
