POM antegrade dilatation is an effective alternative in selected patients as it makes the pathology disappear. Non-resectable liver tumors are one of the most frequent indications of pediatric liver transplantation. However, the usefulness of interventional techniques is still to be exploited. This is the case of a patient with a non-resectable liver sarcoma proposed for liver transplantation, which could be avoided as the tumor was fully resected following selective portal embolization combined with chemotherapy treatment.
