This study concludes that in soils with low Pb sorption ability, some of the Pb retained as DOM-Pb is water soluble and possibly re-released despite the presence of hydroxyapatite, although most Pb in DOM-Pb is stably sorbed as Pb ions. Indium and gallium are used widely in modern industry, mostly for the production of semiconductors. They are considered as Technology-Critical Elements and have therefore received growing attention in the past few years. We investigated the influence of different types of humic substances on
