Vaccination may on rare occasions trigger Guillian Barré syndrome, and the syndrome has previously been associated with vaccines against H1N1 swine flu. We present a case report of a 73-year-old man who received SARS-CoV-2 mRNA-1273-vaccine (Spikevax, Moderna Inc., MA, USA) and subsequently experienced diarrhoea, sensory ataxia, gait disorder, back pain, bilateral facial palsy, and dysarthria. A nerve conduction study was compatible with demyelinating polyneuropathy, and he was diagnosed with Guillian Barré syndrome. We discuss vaccines
