Corporate Social Responsibility in Healthcare in India

Principles of CSR have developed from idealistic leadership to a mandated appendage of corporate management in India. Healthcare has huge problems ranging from health facility deficiencies, scarcity of health personnel, and limited utilization of quality health services, hence the importance of CSR in the health sector. This blog post aims to discuss the relevance of CSR, especially in healthcare, with context to Indian healthcare and present several success stories and how others can be created.

The Need for CSR in Healthcare
The documents are based on having identified the following challenges affecting India’s healthcare system:. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), India has a doctor-patient ratio of 1:1, instead of the private sector’s desired ratio of 1:1000; its population of 1445 was distinctly meager. Lack of health facilities and health care services takes its toll hardest on rural areas because over 65% of the population resides in rural areas. The great divide results in a high level of hospitalization for diseases that would otherwise be avoidable, maternal and under-5 child mortality, and chronic diseases.

These issues can be solved by CSR initiatives that are aimed at giving more resources, developing new solutions, and implementing sustainable programs that will affect the sphere of healthcare and make it more accessible and of better quality.

Tathastu Healthcare has always focused on sound CSR policies, emphasizing quality and access to healthcare. Be a part of us, and together we will work to make India a better and healthier country. In that way, together, it could be possible to guarantee that everyone receives the necessary and deserved healthcare service.
