Porous silicate supported micro-nano zero-valent iron (PSi@ZVI) was prepared from copper slag (CS) through carbothermal reduction technology, and used as a persulfate (PS) activator for removing organic contaminants. Results showed that the properties of the activator were greatly affected by the preparation conditions.
