This study aimed to investigate the role of lncRNA CTBP1-AS2 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The authors found that CTBP1-AS2 was upregulated in HCC by analyzing TCGA dataset. The downregulation of CTBP1-AS2 in HCC was confirmed by measuring the expression level of CTBP1-AS2 in both HCC and nontumor tissues from HCC patients.
