Lentiviral vectors (LVs) commonly used for the treatment of hemoglobinopathies often have low titers and sub-optimal gene transfer efficiency for human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs), hindering clinical translation and commercialization for ex vivo gene therapy.
