In the present study, we evaluated the effects of daily consumption of raw (RR) or sun-dried (SDR) radishes (Raphanus sativus cv. YR-Hyuga-Risou) on apolipoprotein E-deficient (ApoE-/- ) mice. Daily consumption of RR for 16 weeks significantly decreased body weight gain in the both wild-type and ApoE-/- mice.
