Previous studies reported variable sensitivity and specificity of the Phalen test. We investigated whether a timed Phalen's test (TPT) could predict abnormal nerve conduction studies (NCS) results in carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Patients with CTS were consecutively recruited.
