Three new cadinane-type sesquiterpenes, eupatorinones A-C (1-3), along with seven known compounds (4-1, were obtained from the petroleum ether fraction of 95% ethanol extract of Eupatorium adenophorum Spreng. The structures of these new compounds were determined by NMR, MS, and ECD spectra analysis. The configuration of compound 3 was established by quantum chemical calculations of NMR chemical shifts and ECD spectra, that matched the experimental data.
