Adsorption of dibenzothiophene (DBT) and 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene (4,6-DMDBT) from solutions in hexane and hexadecane respectively as well as in acetonitrile for both thiophenic compounds was investigated with sorbents of three activated carbons and their oxidized counterparts.
