The BBC Panorama investigation revealed that an undercover journalist was diagnosed with ADHD in three private clinics, despite a more thorough NHS examination that concluded he didn't have the condition. However there are many patients who are forced to seek private diagnoses and treatment due to logjammed NHS waiting lists.
