Mines Game The Mines game is a grid of dark grey squares which could reveal a bomb or a diamond. Its minimalist clicks and beeps give a soothing feel to the game. By clicking on a number, you can open all squares adjacent to it that touch it. This feature can save a considerable amount of time. In Lock's sophomore classes, students used the game to practice reasoning skills that would assist them well in solving theorems later in their math classes.
