Among the various extracts, MeEAR possesses higher amount of phenols and flavonoids with effective inhibition on carbohydrate hydrolysing enzymes (P0.05) and also exhibited higher glycemic control invivo, with simultaneous improvement in the hepatic and renal activities in diabetic rats.
