The purpose of this prospective study was to evaluate the success rates and prosthetic complications of implants with a modified sandblasted and acid-etched (SLA) surface inserted for posterior single-implant crown restorations. Final crowns were placed 3 to 4 weeks after surgery, and patient follow-up spanned 10 years in a private practice setting.
