Compared to the existing interaction sequence kernel association test (ISKAT), TOW-GE is more powerful when there are GE interactions' effects for rare risk and/or protective variants; VW-TOW-GE is more powerful when there are GE interactions' effects for both rare and common risk and protective variants.
