We report the abrupt unforeseen demise from exsanguination of a 60-year-old white feminine which underwent balloon angioplasty of her right popliteal artery via a right common femoral arteriotomy 3 months before demise. This led to a mycotic pseudoaneurysm of the right femoral artery that ruptured, causing deadly exsanguination. A pseudoaneurysm is an arterial wall problem for which area of the wall consists of fibrin and fibrous structure, lacking the different parts of the standard arterial wall,
