Effect of amines on formation of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs)/polymer nanocomposites has been observed and studied. Nanocomposites based on polyurethane foam and AuNPs were synthesized by interaction between the polymer modified with sodium borohydride and aqueous solution of tetrachloroauric acid.
