To determine the impact of diabetes-specific recommendations at 1 year after hospital discharge on glycemic control and diabetes care in an outpatient setting. A total of 139 patients with type 2 diabetes on a basal-bolus insulin regimen during hospitalization were included in the statistical analysis.
