Cytomegalovirus(CMV)infection is a well-recognized complication of immunodeficiency. We present the case of a 90- year-old female admitted due to gastric cancer. Fifty-seven days after gastrectomy, intestinal juice was observed from the umbilical wound, which was suspected of anastomotic failure or gastrointestinal perforation.
