Studies have shown that human-induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) derived cardiomyocytes (iCMCs) would provide a limitless source of cells for regenerative therapy and drug discoveries. Similar to embryonic stem cells, iPSCs have the capability to differentiate into mature functional iCMCs.
