Acromegaly and diabetes mellitus (DM) separately are associated with cardiovascular alterations and modified left ventricular (LV) deformation, which can be quantitatively assessed by three-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography (3DSTE). The present study aimed to assess the relationship between LV deformation and twist in the presence of DM in acromegaly.
