We compiled day-to-day matters of fatal and nonfatal shootings happening between January 2012 and July 2019 and fit a Bayesian design to approximate the impact associated with the ceasefires on weapon physical violence during designated weekends after accounting for annual seasonality, day's the week, calendar days, and overall time trends.
