The synthesis, XRD single-crystal structure, powder XRD, and solid-state fluorescence of two new DPA-DPS-EWG derivatives (DPA=diphenylamino, DPS=2,5-diphenyl-stilbene, EWG=electron-withdrawing group, that is, carbaldehyde or dicyanovinylene, DCV) are described.
