Twenty yeast isolates identified as Aureobasidium pullulans, Cryptococcus magnus, Metschnikowia pulcherrima and Rhodotorula glutinis presented positive antagonistic activity against Penicillium expansum; they controlled the development of at least one of the fungi, significantly reducing the disease incidence.
