1. The Lion and the Mouse (Approx. 200 words) Once upon a time, a mighty lion was sleeping in the forest. , scurrying about, accidentally ran over the lion’s nose, waking him up. The lion quickly grabbed the mouse with his enormous paw and was ready to eat him. The frightened mouse begged for mercy. “Please let me go, and one day I will repay your kindness!” The lion laughed at the mouse’s promise, thinking such a small creature could never help him.
